horrified!
I'm engaged to be married next month and just returned from seeing the gynecologist, which was the most horrifying experience of my life. But while I was there I did ask about my hymen and if it was intact cause i wasn't sure. Anyway, she said it was, which scared me cause before that i was under the impression that it might had already been borken from tampon use...now that i have a confirmation that it's there and intact im scared out of mind...mostly because the first night of our honeymoon is at this really expensive hotel and even in the honeymoon sweet (only for the 1st night as it's so expensive, but a regular room for the 2nd), and i don't want the majority of that night bleeding and screaming and telling him to stop and ruining his night as well as mine in the most awesome hotel room that my parents won't ever pay for us AGAIN!

relax and enjoy your husband
Dont worry about ruining your wedding night. I too was a virgin until I married my husband and it was a lot better than I expected. I thought it was going to hurt like crazy too but I think thats really only true for those who are not ready for sex. My hubby and I didnt rush right into sex as soon as we got to the hotel room. we kissed and fooled around for a long time and Im not trying to be graphic but I was really wet by the time we actualy had sex and it didnt hurt at all. It was a very different, very good feeling. Weve been married for 3 years and sometimes when we have sex now it hurts if Im not wet enough so my advice to you is dont rush right into sex after you get to your hotel. Talk to each other, fool around, passionately kiss, have oral sex, massage each other and after you are truly ready and wet then gently have sex. Its a wonderful experience to have with your husband. And I didnt bleed my first time and neither did many of my girlfriends. I truly think bleeding has more to do with rough sex or sex without being lubricated (wet) because of the tearing moreso than with your hymen being intact. Another thing: Just enjoy each other and go at your own pace. Congratulations on your wedding! :)
