Sex on prom night

In less than two weeks, I will be attending my senior prom. I am thinking about going with a guy friend, whom I have liked for a few months. I am excited about prom, but nervous about what will happen after. The guy has had a lot of girls before. I know I shouldn't put myself in that situation, but he promises me he's changed. I am very into my faith and would NEVER, EVER have sex before marriage, but I think he might try to pressure me. What should I do?

You can let him know up front that it's not going to happen. But, for many guys that may just seem like a challenge to win you over.

Guys can change, but it takes years of pratice, not just saying so. Young men often have the best of intentions, but then succumb to their hormones. It will be up to you to say no and put a stop to it before anything happens.

Personally, if I were you, I would not go with a guy where I thought this was a risk. But if you do, have a game plan: you're on you're period, a knee to the groin, a can of mace, whatever.
